FLO Amritsar signed an MOU with the Municipal Corporation Amritsar to collaborate on the
Amritsar Bulk Water Supply Scheme and promote water conservation. The scope of
collaboration includes:

• Promotion and Awareness: Coordinating and supporting MCA in campaigns to raise
  awareness about the bulk water supply scheme and sustainable water use practices,
  organising seminars, workshops, and community engagement activities.
• Communication: Creating and distributing Information Education Communication (IEC)
  material to inform the public about the scheme’s benefits and features. FLO Amritsar will
  utilise social media and other communication channels to broaden the outreach.
• Outreach: Engaging local communities, schools, bulk water consumers, and businesses
  to foster a culture of water conservation and facilitating the involvement of FLO Amritsar
  members in outreach activities.
• Sensitisation and Training: Conducting training and sensitisation programs for civil
  societies, community-based organisations, NGOs, Residents Welfare Associations, and
  community leaders on water conservation.
