MoA signing with Nivesh Foundation

Chennai, 4th September at The Leela Palace

On September 4, 2024, a significant Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) was signed between Nivesh Foundation for the Welfare of Differently Abled Persons and FLO Chennai. This MOA marks the beginning of a collaborative effort to promote economic independence and sustainable employment opportunities for differently abled and disadvantaged individuals.

Nivesh Foundation, a Section 8 company dedicated to creating economic opportunities for adults with special needs through handcrafted products and sheltered employment, has partnered with FLO Chennai, an organization committed to fostering diversity and inclusiveness. The agreement aims to facilitate gainful upskilling and employment for differently abled persons by leveraging the strengths of both organizations.

Under the MOA, FLO Chennai will assist Nivesh Foundation by referring reliable partner NGOs working with differently abled individuals, facilitating the creation of memorandums of understanding with these organizations, and connecting disadvantaged individuals with employment opportunities. In turn, Nivesh Foundation will support FLO by providing skilling opportunities, conducting workshops, and enhancing the visibility of diversity and inclusiveness activities through collaborative efforts.

The agreement outlines a comprehensive framework for cooperation, including mutual responsibilities and program outcomes designed to expand the reach and impact of both parties. The MOA will be in effect until March 2025, with provisions for extension based on mutual agreement. It also includes clauses on indemnity, termination, confidentiality, and governing law, ensuring a structured and transparent partnership.

The signing of this MOA represents a pivotal step towards empowering differently abled individuals and underscores the commitment of both Nivesh Foundation and FLO Chennai to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment.
