On August 13th, Dr. Nidhi conducted an interactive session on menstrual hygiene, self-care, diet, and skin and hair care routines for 80 students at Anjuman Islam School. Although the students were initially hesitant to discuss menstruation, they soon became comfortable and engaged actively in the conversation.
The session was coordinated by Gayatri Tiwari. Special appreciation is also due to Anita Agarwal, Sharmila Bingarwala, and Krity Raisoni for their valuable presence and support during the session.
A follow-up meeting was held at Neeru Goyal’s office with Sarpanch Induri and representatives from Kendur village to discuss Project Ladlee. The meeting focused on promoting menstrual cup awareness and working towards a pad-free environment in the villages. A productive brainstorming session was conducted to plan the next steps for the project.
