Meeting With USA Rep’s Hilde Pearson

FLO Lucknow had the privilege of meeting Ms. Hilde Pearson, the Indo-Pacific Strategy Officer at the U.S. Embassy, and Ms. Poonam Kamath from the Economic Office, alongside Vice President Ms. Puja Garg, and Chairperson Ms. Vibha Agarwal. The chapter was also joined by IPC Ms. Swati Verma, and Senior Vice Chairperson Ms. Vandita Agarwal at the Taj Sahib Cafe.

This meeting was a valuable exchange of ideas and insights. During the discussion, the pros and cons of women entrepreneurship in India, with a particular focus on Uttar Pradesh were explored. Additionally, they had the opportunity to take their guests to their adopted village, Palhari, where they engaged in one-on-one conversations with the village pradhan and the girls involved in the skilling unit. Anupama Ji, the head, was also present to welcome the delegates and provide them with all the necessary information.
