Meeting with the New Zealand Delegation 

FLO organised a meeting with the delegation of women entrepreneurs from New Zealand. The delegation was led by Annu Sharma,CEO and Founder- I am Woman.

Annu Sharma is a writer, motivational speaker and social worker, founder and CEO of I Am Woman. She has worked in the Criminal Justice system in New Zealand for just under a decade, working in the areas of domestic and sexual violence; including other offences. She specialises in crimes involving children, youth and women.

The delegates interacted with FLO members and expressed their interest in understanding the challenges in the path of women empowerment in India.

FLO President Vasvi Bharat Ram briefed the delegation about FLO through a Presentation on its activities.

The interaction provided in-depth exploration of the issues pertaining to women empowerment and also focused on governance, politics, policy making, bilateral relations, culture and trade relations. It was also an opportunity to cultivate long-lasting synergies among FLO & the vising delegates, who also spoke about offering two scholarships for girls in the categories of Sports & Academics.
