Low Carbon, High Ambition”

YFLO in conjunction with the British Deputy High Commission, Kolkata organised the event – Low Carbon, High Ambition – a great opportunity to learn more about our carbon footprint and how we could shape our daily life and business activities to be more ‘green’. The event took place at the Deputy High Commissioner’s residence. The panel discussion with experts in the field focussed on knowledge building and empowerment. In addition, guests enjoyed live street theatre, watched exclusive award winning short films and purchased some eco-friendly products from a range of retailers at the eco-bazaar. The event marked YFLO Kolkata’s third anniversary, and was the first of its kind event held in the Eastern region. The guest of honor was the esteemed Governor of West Bengal, Mr. M K Narayanan. The other guests included leading dignitaries, industrialists, socialites and foreign consuls.
