A comprehensive 21-day Lifestyle Foundation Plan on Holistic Wellness with Nishant Bhalotia of Fitamins had 21 days of daily discussions on WhatsApp, punctuated by four sessions on Zoom.
1. The first zoom session on 11 May was on Activity, emphasizing how “Sitting Kills” or “sitting is the new smoking”.
2. The second session emphasized the importance of developing good eating habits rather than being on the lookout for ‘the best diet in the world.
3. The third session was on Sleep – the integral role it plays in a healthy lifestyle. It is not only the hours but the quality and more importantly, the best time to sleep.
4. The fourth session was on Happiness. Happiness is inside us but we keep looking on the outside. When we were born we were happy without a reason.
Apart from these four zoom sessions, daily interaction on WhatsApp based on simple assignments kept the members fully engaged and eager to fulfil the daily targets.
Activities that included not only easily assimilable habits of movement, food and sleep, but also simple exercises to connect us to our five elements, like walking barefoot on the grass to connect with the ‘earth’ element, decluttering to connect with the ‘space’ element and saluting our Guru, found a deep resonance with members. More than 130 members were part of the workshop, and many won prizes from Nishant for their consistent and enthusiastic participation in all the daily activities.
It was fulfilling for FLO to have members talk about how they benefitted with visible results even within these 21 days, whether it was better skin, better hair, better sleep, relief from constipation, relief from acidity and weight loss and so much more!
On the last day of this 21-day workshop, members took a pledge to look after their wellness, to honour our martyrs who sacrificed their lives for us.
