Launch of skilling project ‘Skill Her’

FLO Uttarakhand recently launched a transformative skilling program called ‘Skill Her’, aimed at empowering women by enhancing their employability and earning potential. The program, conceived and organized by FLO Uttarakhand, encourages each member, referred to as ‘Women-tors,’ to commit to skilling at least one woman in a valuable trade or skill. At the event, 18 members pledged to use their expertise and resources to mentor and train women who lack access to such opportunities. This project will be ongoing and will emphasize the responsibility of each “Wo-Mentor” to support their mentee, including covering all associated costs, to ensure they gain the skills necessary for economic independence.
