Launch of Women Corporate Directors initiative

FICCI FLO has taken this initiative at pan India level to empower women with skills required for appointment as directors in company boards and build a pool of qualified women candidates ready for the boardroom challenges.

We launched this unique initiative in Kolkata. The WCD initiative for FLO Kolkata chapter is headed by Mrs Manju Pachisia–supported by Mrs Sucharita Basu and Mrs Sunira Chamaria. I thank them for taking this wonderful project ahead.

This program aims to help women understand what is expected of them as corporate directors and it identifies the strength of a woman to build herself and be part of decision making in the boardroom.
