FLO organised a virtual session titled “Kahan Se Kahan Tak: What it Takes to Succeed – A Conversation with International Fashion Designer Purvi Doshi,” on May 7, 2024. It was organized under the ambit of FLO Fashion & Jewellery National Initiative.
Purvi Doshi’s journey from a simple fashion label to a sustainable brand over the past 25 years has been remarkable. She has transformed her brand into a force for good, empowering artisans and promoting zero-waste practices. Purvi’s brand now works with more than 300 artisans and weavers, bringing their grassroots crafts to mainstream fashion and benefiting entire communities. Her commitment to sustainability is further highlighted by the development of the “Field to Body” traceability app, providing consumers with transparency about the garment-making process.
Anjali Aggarwal, Governing Body Member and National Head- FLO Fashion & Jewellery Initiative moderated the session.
During the interactive session, Purvi Doshi shared valuable insights on creativity, business acumen, and sustainability in the fashion industry.
