Justice Delayed Is Justice Denied

A big crowd gathered to listen , as well as voice out their angst against the judicial system of India in the evening of 2nd February, 2009 at the Park Hotel. FLO Kolkata Chapter organized a Panel Discussion on the much talked, clichéd and still relevant topic of , “Justice Delayed Is Justice Denied”. The Panelist comprised, The Hon’ble Chief Justice Of Uttarakhand Shri V. K. Gupta, The Senior Barrister Shri S, K. Kapoor and The Senior Advocate Mr. Utpal Bose. The discussion was moderated by Ms Oindrilla Dutt. The programme was thought of in a way, so as to make it interactive with the audience rather than a dry representations of the judiciary. The Chief Justice gave some grave instances of the administrative causes, which delay the total judicial process of our country, in a very light manner; while the senior barrister and the senior advocate cited some practical problems they face from the society and other agencies engaged in the process. The audience threw questions pertaining to law and the process of law and got patiently answered.
