FICCI FLO celebrated International Yoga Day with an exclusive virtual session titled “Yoga – The Timeless Techniques for Modern Mindfulness.” The session was facilitated by Ms. Avantika Krishna Killa, the founder of Panchatattva Naturopathy Clinic and a valued YFLO member.
The event commenced with a warm welcome and opening remarks by Joyshree Das Verma, the National President of FICCI FLO. In her address, she extended her gratitude to Alka Batra, Governing Body Member, for organizing the session. Ms Batra was the Day Chair for the event. Joyshree highlighted the importance of holistic empowerment for FLO members and emphasized the significance of yoga in achieving physical, mental, and spiritual well-being.
She also discussed the global growth of the yoga industry, noting that it was estimated at USD 107.1 billion in 2023 and is projected to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 9.4% from 2024 to 2030. Joyshree highlighted how yoga has become a mainstream activity worldwide, aiding India's cultural diplomacy and enhancing its soft power.
