International Yoga Day

It was a very refreshing start of International Yoga Day with FLO Jaipur Chapter. we organized Yoga & Meditation workshop for the members, in the peaceful greens, and dancing peacock harmonic aura of Diggi palace.

Yoga is a 5000 – year old tradition of India that combines physical, mental and spiritual pursuits to achieve harmony of Body and mind. It was a very enlightening session under the guidance of Isha Foundations. Few very important aspects of Yoga were learnt by all the enthusiastic members, about Lord SHIVA who was the first Yogi called Aadi Yogi. Yoga practice is a transformation of life, it is like an essential diet for great body and great mind. It not just about Exercise but also sharpens memory, discovers the sense of oneness with Yourself, World and Nature. Highlights of the session were:

  • Yoga for love

Physical Fitness is the key to success in Life. In a fit body, resides a fit mind. The FLO members in comfortable whites performed asanas at Diggi Palace. The workshop concluded with healthy food, like salads, fresh juice, bagel.

Nitasha Chordia, Chairperson shared her views which resonated with our Prime Minister that Yoga should not be limited to a single day, it should be our way of Life. She said that ‘Yoga is the biggest Global Mass Movement towards good health’& Pledged with her members to step forward in spreading this awareness of peace, happiness, and harmony.
