An interactive session with Dr. Mallika Nadda

Members of YFLO Delhi Executive Committee were invited to Dr.Mallika Nadda’s residence for an interaction. In a candid conversation she shared with us what inspired her to join student politics, recalling anecdotes from her days as a youth leader in ABVP and elected president of the Jabalpur College and University.

Dynamic and fearless from a young age, we gained a variety of perspectives from instances that have shaped her as a person. Dr. Nadda along with other ABVP volunteers aided the victims of the Bhopal Gas Tragedy.

Referring to “A life in and outside politics”, Dr. Nadda also spoke about her experience of living the public eye and how it impacts her personal and family life which helped us understand that true service is incomplete without sacrifice.

Chairperson, Special Olympics Bharat,Dr. Mallika Nadda is one of the leading social activists with a keen sense of responsibility, dedicated to the causes of differently-abled, under-privileged and women empowerment for over 30 years. She guided us on how we as mothers and responsible citizens of the country should lead by example and sensitise the next generation and come forward to support those who are unable to help themselves.
