FLO Amritsar, along with Commissionerate Police, organised an impactful and interactive seminar on “Youth Against Drugs” on 4th July at Art Gallery Amritsar
The event addressed the pressing issue of drug abuse among the youth and explored effective strategies for a drug-free Punjab.

Expert panellists from various fields provided invaluable insights into the psychiatric aspects of addiction and the crucial role of mental health in rehabilitation.
Police Commissioner Amritsar Mr Ranjit Singh Dhillon highlighted the physical and mental destruction caused by drug addiction. He stressed that society can overcome any challenge by uniting. Amritsar faces drug smuggling issues, but he assured measures would be taken to rehabilitate victims.
The seminar was attended by over 400 government school children, who gained valuable knowledge and encouragement to resist drug use.
Additionally, two deaddicted individuals shared their experiences, highlighting the vital role of family in the recovery process.
The event highlighted the importance of community involvement and preventive measures, concluding with a unanimous call to action for a brighter, drug-free future for Punjab.
