FICCI Ladies Organization Jaipur Chapter organized a talk show with Kabir Bedi, one of India’s most famous International actors, as well as the bold & beautiful Bollywood actress, Radhika Apte which was a houseful session.
In a candid and open session, the eminent guests spoke about their early beginnings, experiences, views &life stories. Enriching the audience with their own personal and professional learning’s shared very valuable insights on their Success with FLO members.
Chairperson, Ms. Minal Jain ,on the occasion , spoke about the reality of the world beyond our perception. & pitched to all the members to discover their own individual definitions of success & it’s benchmarks .She said ,hard work, adversity & perseverance always play a huge role on the path to success. Initiating the session, veteran actor Kabir Bedi spoke about his connect with Rajasthan through his many successful films shot around the state, outlined his career path, the adversities and motivations on the path to success. He also spoke about how Acting is a tough career choice and at the end of the day all the glamour is not worth one life.
Radhika Apte spoke about her experimental choices, her move to Mumbai from Pune and how through experimentation and persistence , her career was shaped.
FLO initiatives of Computer Education & Women Empowerment in Tailoring was also launched at the occasion. Kabir Bedi was full of appreciation for FLO & it’s initiatives . He commended the efforts in respect of social work with special reference to our initiatives in tailoring, computer education, etc. and said that by providing a means of living, we are also enabling them to have the freedom to achieve what they really desire. His words were true motivation to our members .
Ms. Minal Jain, asked Kabir Bedi & Radhika about what comes beyond success – to which they replied that beyond success, one must give back to society, it is on the basis of the society, that one becomes successful and one must never forget that. There are many real life heroes around us doing social work and giving back , we must recognize and acknowledge them. They also said that one has to remain humble even after success, it is important to just be human &always remember Buddha’s principle of impermanence.
