Industrial visits are invaluable as they broaden our horizons, deepening our understanding of the industrial landscape and the innovative processes at work behind the scenes.
FLO Hyderabad organised a visit to Azad Engineering on 27th April, 2024. Azad Engineering is one of the key manufacturers of highly engineered, complex and mission- and life-critical components for the aerospace, defense, energy, and oil and gas industries. Some of their products have a ‘zero parts per million’ defects requirement. Their customers include global brands such as Rolls Royce, Pratt & Whitney, Boeing, General Electric, Honeywell International Inc., Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd., Siemens Energy, Eaton Aerospace, Rafael, Skoda Power, etc. The 15-years old Azad Engineering that got listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange in December 2023, boasts International cricket icon Sachin Tendulkar amongst its ace investors.
The visit was an eye opener for members, who were amazed to see how highly sophisticated components are being made right here in India, and how cutting-edge robotics is redefining precision manufacturing. The visit ended with a sumptuous lunch organised by Azad Engineering.
