Industrial Visit – Adyar IIT

FLO members visited the Demonstration building for Rapid Affordable Mass Housing using Glass Fibre Reinforced Gypsum (GFRG) Panels for affordable individual and mass housing.

Followed by that the members visited the Prof. Pradeep’s Nano Technology Lab and project Amrit – the affordable water unit that purifies Arsenic and Iron Impurities. He explained the arsenic menace in India and how it impacts the IQ of growing children. The FLO Chairperson- Dr. Vijaya Rangarajan discussed on how to take it to the common man at an affordable costing.
