Inauguration of Rural Skill Development Training Centre Bantilo, Astaranga

Under FLO Bhubaneswar’s Village Holistic Development Initiative , FLO Bhubaneswar and Humara Bachpan Trust organized the Launch of Skill Development Centre and Digital Literacy Felicitation for 1000 participants on 22nd September 2022.

The Apparel Skill Development Centre was inaugurated by Hon’ble Minister of State Shri Tusharkanti Behera, (E & IT, Sports & Youth Services, Home). The inaugural program was organized at Bantilo Cyclone Centre in presence of more than 200 women and girls from the villages. Among others Zilla Parisad President Shri Swadhin Nayak, Astranga Block Chairman Smt. Arati Nayak, Tahasildar Smt Rajalaxmi Nayak, Sarpanch (Korona Panchayat) Smt. Madhusmita Kandi, FLO Bhubaneswar Chairperson Namrita Chahal and Humara Bachpan Trust’s Founder Chairperson Dharitri Patnaik attended the event.

After inauguration of the skill centre, Chief Guest addressed the audience which will encouraged the women trainees those who have started thinking “different” and making effort to take up income generation activities. The participants of digital literacy shared their learning and experience about the benefits of being digitally literate now. The trainees were felicitated with completion certificate by the Chief Guest during the program.
