In conversation with Irrfan Khan

Interacting with Irrfan Khan, the cerebral cine star of India made the fourth event of YFLO Kolkata a grand and splendid affair. Magic unfolded in the Bardhaman and Coochbehar halls of Oberoi Grand as Irrfan charmed and overwhelmed the audience with his intellect, wit and candour. In spite of being at the apotheosis of his career, we found in him a candid, down to earth and conscientious individual, who has not let success go into the head. It was inspiring to know that it was sheer hard work, struggle, motivation, and the zeal to outperform that has made Irrfan what he is today. Irrfan’s wife Sutapa Sikdar Khan also shared stage with the actor and spoke about their journey from television to the Mumbai film industry. The show was moderated by Mr. Pratim D Gupta, a journalist, film critic, screenwriter and film director, who reviews Bollywood films for The Telegraph. About 180 FLO and YFLO members attended the show.
