Ikebana workshop

Ahmedabad Chapter organised an Ikebana workshop for the members. Ikebana, a Japanese art, is the ultimate expression of flower arrangement. “Ikebana” means “living flower” and it is an expression of harmony and beauty of nature. The flowers are arranged in the same way as they grow in nature.

The workshop was conducted by renowned Ikebana expert, by Mrs Nalini Doongursee, President of Bombay chapter of Ohara School of Ikebana. During the workshop she demonstrated this beautiful Japanese art and also helped the participants to learn and practice Ikebana.
