FLO Bangalore’s sustainability vertical hosted the “Hydroponics at Home” event at Klayworkz Barista. This session focused on educating members about leveraging hydroponics to enhance climate resilience and promote home-based food security.
Expert guidance was provided by Mr. Sandheep Rajendran, who detailed the process of growing fresh produce using hydroponic systems, emphasizing minimal water usage and protection from environmental toxins. Participants learned about the advantages and disadvantages of hydroponics compared to traditional gardening methods, as well as practical steps for establishing their hydroponic setups at home.
Following the educational session, attendees had the opportunity to sample a farm-to-table salad featuring freshly harvested greens from Klayworkz’s in-house hydroponic system. This experiential element allowed members to witness the tangible results of hydroponic cultivation.
