FLO Mumbai in association with Eva Health – India’s First All Women Diagnostic Centre, a part of NM Medical, one of the pioneers in diagnostic testing in India, organised an insightful event titled, “Hormones, Health & Happiness: Strategies on Women’s Health & Wellness” on September 28th, 2024 at EVA Health Centre at 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

The event features a panel discussion with reputed doctors, Dr Neha Mehta, GP; Dr Varsha PaiDhungat, OBGYN; Arati Shah, Sports Science & Clinic Nutrition; Sherali Mehta, Trichologist; & Pooja Arambhan, Co-Founder & CEO, iiV Health Solutions & Sr Vice Chairperson. They discussed the importance of regular screening for cardiovascular health & how gynaecological needs change and what should women prioritise in their annual checkups over the age of 45.

The panel delved into hormonal health, discussing Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT), the prevention of osteoporosis, maintaining a healthy libido, skin & scalp health, mental & emotional well-being, warning signs of gynaecological cancers & metabolism changes during perimenopause & menopause amongst other insightful topics over High Tea.

The session ended with a tour of the world-class facility that is run by women for women along with a tour of the diagnostic lab that saw a majority of women lab technicians headed by a female doctor & featured a discussion on the importance of genome sequencing by Rahil Shah, Director & CEO, NM Medical to understand genetic predispositions to cancer or cardiovascular diseases and how one can take preventive & timely measures.

The members found the event very insightful & received vouchers from the doctors & Eva Health as giveaways.
