As a prelude to National Handloom Day, we organized a Handloom Legacy Conversation & Walk on 6th August 2019 with Sanjay Garg, Raw Mango & Tisca Chopra.
The event was well attended by our members. In the conversation Sanjay Garg mentioned that Handloom is an integral part of your wardrobe & a legacy for your future generation. Wearing Handloom Sari once in a week can promote it & keep the Tradition alive. Slow fashion, food & rituals are all timeless. The Fashion Show was curated by Promoting our members in the field of fashion, direct promotion of their brand & connecting them to prospective clients. & the participating model where none other than the FLO members. The entire event was about bringing the FLO family together.
The past chairpersons walked the ramp in Raw Mango Sarees. Also the best part was Giving wings to our Skilling in Tailoring Girls to showcasing their work & confidence on the ramp. The guest of honour was Minister for Child & Women Welfare Ms. Mamta Bhupesh, Govt. of Rajasthan. She spoke about the participation of women as producers & consumers for textiles, an integral part of the industry.
