FWD – KPMG Training

Bangalore Chapter held a training session at the KPMG office on the ‘Roles, Responsibilities and Liabilities’ of women directors in family run businesses. This was FLO Bangalore’s second training session, following the introductory session on the same at the Change of Guard in April 2015.

In 2013 there was a company law mandate which required to have one women on the board of every listed company. FLO took a step towards solving the issue by tying up with an American organization called Women Corporate Directors (WCD) and KPMG and organizinga half day workshop for women directors of Family run businesses. This programme is very popular as many of our members are entrepreneurs or on the board.
