Future of Work Skills in the 21st Century

FLO Indore organized a session for students on “Future of Work Skills in the 21st Century”. The session was a part of FLO Indore’s ongoing Financial Literacy Initiative, which aims to provide young minds with the tools and knowledge to succeed in diverse areas of personal and professional growth.

Featuring esteemed speaker Neha Munshi and held at the Infobeans Foundation, the event was attended by 30 students. Ms. Neha Munshi began the session with a story inspired by Sudha Murty’s famous “Five Spoons of Salt” anecdote. This served as a prelude to her discussion on the transformational journey of societal progress, from the Industrial Revolution to the Intelligence Revolution, the Digital Revolution, and now the age of Artificial Intelligence (AI). She elaborated on how the future will transition toward a new focus on Emotional Intelligence (EI), emphasizing that success in the workplace will rely not only on IQ (Intelligence Quotient) but also on EQ (Emotional Quotient).

Ms. Munshi highlighted the importance of taking initiative and creating visibility in professional spaces. Platforms like LinkedIn, social media, and professional gatherings, she explained, can help establish meaningful connections. Additionally, she introduced the concept of the “Elevator Pitch,” a concise 30-second statement. The session saw the presence of FLO Indore Committee members, Ms.Garjana Rathod and Ar. Varsha Daagra.
