Union Minister Smriti Zubin Irani engaged in a conversation with FICCI Ladies Organisation (FLO), Hyderabad Chapter, discussing the Future Role of Women in India, moderated by journalist and author Sriram Karri. Smriti Irani shared insights on success and failure, underlining how both define one’s journey. She discussed the Women’s Reservation Bill, emphasizing that it didn’t infringe on men’s rights.

She noted the surge in income tax payers and efficient tax revenue utilization for infrastructure development. Smriti Irani criticized the Hunger Index by Gallop and championed women’s empowerment, declaring that no one should treat women as inferior. The event highlighted women’s leadership and their role in shaping India’s future, with Smriti Irani serving as an inspirational figure for attendees. The event was attended by 250 FLO Members.
