Out Of The Frames – Damayanti With Anju Modi And Dolly Jain

FLO Kolkata members witnessed a spectacular show on 11th Nov @Galleria 1910 with one of India’s finest designer Anju Modi presenting her latest collection Damayanti, India’s most celebrated artist, Raja Ravi Varma’s muse.. “Out of the Frames” along with the Celebrity saree draper Dolly Jain.

Anju Modi shared her inspiration about the collection, its significance in her personal life, Raja Ravi Varma’s influence on her design sensibilities and silhouettes .

Dolly Jain spoke about her various draping techniques, drapes and silhouettes preferred by clients, draping styles in different states and cultures, her experiences and some expert tips to our members.

The conversation was interesting with insights on sustainable & Conscious fashion as well as slow living and the audience loved every moment of it.

This was followed by a beautiful ramp walk with FLO members dressed in Baji Rao Mastani , Ram Leela and Damyanti outfits and adorned in stunning jewellery by Chirag Jewellers .

The event was well attended by 150 members.

The floor was open to questions from the audience and it ended up with great member interaction.
