FLO Bangalore Gourmet Vertical hosted “Food Legacy: Kerala” for 75 members for an immersive cultural and culinary experience on September 25th, 2024, showcasing Kerala’s rich heritage through its art, music, dance, and cuisine.
Resmi Natesan, graciously welcomed the members into her soothing yet vibrant home, recreating an authentic Keralan atmosphere with traditional elements like pookalam (flower rangoli) and fruit boats. The event featured a fascinating display of artifacts, some dating back to the 15th century, shared by Resmi’s husband, adding historical depth to the occasion.
The highlight of the day was a grand feast of over 40 dishes, curated by the renowned Chef Pillai, offering a diverse culinary tour of Kerala’s regions, from tea stall snacks to Malabar seafood and Travancore specialties. All the members enjoyed the joyful symphony of this culinary diversity, assuring the event’s resounding success.
