FLO PRESIDENT’S VISIT TO CHENNAI CHAPTER

FLO President , Ms Neeta Boochra visited FLO Chennai Chapter on Friday, May 30 2014. Team Chennai, welcomed her at Hotel GRT Grand Days with Tamil Nadu traditional ‘ponnadai’.

Chairperson Parveen Papa heartily welcomed Ms. Boochra’s visit and said it was a gesture of abject commitment on her part and a boost of energy to FLO Chennai Chapter.

Ms Boochra addressed the members of the Chapter and briefed them on the focus of FLO , which is to ‘Educate and Empower’ and encouraged the Chapter to work towards this objective. She also called upon the Chapter to support the cause of nation building by empowering women and girls and thus create an ‘IMPACT ’ on the society. She said the events should be planned with eminent personalities, events, workshops, and all other FLO activities should be aimed towards women empowerment. She reiterated the theme at the organisational level as ‘Inspire, Integrate and Innovate’, in response to the changing needs.

Ms.Boochra gave a motivational speech to team Chennai, briefed them about her ensuing programs and extended a warm welcome to members to participate in programmes organised by FLO HQ.
