FLO Makarba School Initiative: Since July 2017 – ongoing basis

FLO members have undertaken “Beti Padhao, Beti Badhao” a WE initiative by volunteering to educate and skill young girls of the municipal school at Makarba in creative arts with a commercial value. In a weekly affair, volunteers of the Chapter conduct teaching sessions and workshops to impart skills to make a range of hand made things like rakhi, paper flowers, paper decorations, nutritive chocolates and many more. The idea is to bring educate the girls in math, science and English as well as to bring them at speed with creative skills having a livelihood potential.
