FLO JKL and Model Institute of Engineering & Technology (MIET) Announces Jammu & Kashmir Startup Conclave 2024

FLO JKL, in collaboration with the Model Institute of Engineering & Technology (MIET), announced Jammu & Kashmir Startup Conclave 2024 (JKSC 2024), on October 25th, 2024, at a press conference held at Lords Inn, Jammu, followed by a media lunch. This highly anticipated event, scheduled for November 8th, 2024 at MIET, Jammu, promises to foster innovation, entrepreneurship, and startup growth in the region.

Ruchika Gupta, Chairperson of FLO JKL and Director, MIET, addressed the media and outlined the vision behind JKSC 2024. She emphasised that the region is on the brink of a startup revolution and the conclave will bring together founders, investors, mentors, and policymakers to provide the necessary push.

The conclave boasts a lineup of renowned speakers and leaders from India’s startup ecosystem, including Mr. Bhuvan Gupta, Co-founder & CTO of Oxyzo & OfBusiness (both unicorn startups), Mrs. Aarti Gupta, National Head, of FLO Startup Cell, and CIO, of Family Office DM Gupta & Anikarth Ventures, Dr. Deepak Motwani, Principal, Wadhwani Foundation & Mr. Mahavir Pratap Sharma, Chair, TiE India Angels and RAIN (Rajasthan Angels).

Mrs. Varuna Anand, Immediate Past Chairperson of FLO JKL, discussed the exciting award categories, which include the Pride of JK Startup Award, Early Stage Promising Startup Award, and Elevator Pitch Award with a total cash prize of ₹2.5 lakh.
