FLO Annual Interstate Meet

The Annual Interstate Meet 2012-13 will was hosted by Bombay Chapter from February 21 & 22, 2013. The 2-day Interstate meet provided an opportunity to all members to network, share ideas and collaborate with each other.

A gala event was also organized to commemorate the completion of 10 years of the Bombay Chapter, dedicated towards felicitating key women leaders from various fields in the city of Mumbai. The event was well attended by top dignitaries in Mumbai, media & over 200 women delegates from the various chapters of FLO India.

The ‘FLO Women Achiever Awards’, powered by State Bank of India was presented to Hema Malini & Farah Khan for their contribution to Films, Zia Mody & Meher Pudumjee towards women entrepreneurship, Chitra Ramakrishnan (MD NSE) & Kaku Nakhate (MD Bank of America) towards Corporate Leadership, Ila Arun for her contribution to Music, Poorna Praful Patel towards promotion of sports, Ashwini Yardi in the media category, Lilette Dubey for her role in promoting Theatre, Priya Dutt in Governance and Pallavi Jaikishan & Anita Dongre in the field of Fashion.

The event was also well represented by key personas of Mumbai such as Mr Satyapal Singh (Mumbai Police Commissioner), Mr. Bakshi (NABARD), Mr Sanjay Johri (MD Voltas), Mr Vijay Singh (MD Fox Studios), Niranjan Hiranandani (Founder Hiranandani Estates), Mr Piyush Pandey, Mr Prahlad Kakkar, Mr Kunal Kohli, the Australian High Commissioner and Mr Sushil Jiwarajka,Chairman,FICCI Western Regional Council & Chairman, Artheon Electronics Ltd.

The evening ended with a scintillating & power packed performance by Shankar Mahadevan.

The Interstate Meet was followed by a trip to MP i.e. Indore, Ujjain and Maheshwar on 23rd & 24th February 2013.
