FICCI FLO Indore was recently invited by the Industry Ministry of Madhya Pradesh to participate in an exclusive round table as part of the Industry Park initiative. The Ministry aimed to access the strength and power of women professionals in FLO and engage in an interactive session with Mr. Manish Singh, the principal secretary of the Department of Industrial Policy and Investment Promotion (DIPIP).
The round table was held in collaboration with the MP Industrial Development Corporation Ltd (MPIDC) and focused on investment opportunities in the state, particularly the land bank available in Madhya Pradesh. During the session, Mr Singh briefed the FLO members about the industrial and investment promotion policies of the state government, with a special focus on the support provided to women entrepreneurs. He also addressed queries from the members and provided insights into the formalities of buying land from the government.
The session was attended by FLO Indore chapter chairperson Mamta Bakliwal and Meetu Kohli, Head of Industry Park, along with many FLO city chapter members. Rohan Saxena, ED, MPIDC, also assured that similar sessions would be organized in the future to provide valuable information and insights to women entrepreneurs in the region.
The event was a valuable opportunity for FLO Indore to learn about investment opportunities and gain insights into government policies and strategies. It highlighted the importance of initiatives taken by the government to promote investment and entrepreneurship and the valuable contributions of FICCI FLO Indore towards this goal. Overall, the round table was a resounding success, and it is hoped that such collaborative efforts will continue to facilitate the growth and development of women entrepreneurs in the region.
