FACE TO FACE EVENT WITH THE POLICE COMMISSIONER

FLO Ludhiana organised Face to Face with Governance, the brainchild of FLO National, for the second time ever after Three years, where a panel discussion on diverse concerns of Ludhiana were discussed by the distinguished Panelists Dr. Sukhchain Singh, Police Commissioner Ludhiana, Mr. Sanyam Aggarwal, Additional Commissioner, Municipal Corporation Ludhiana It was a rare opportunity for the ladies of Ludhiana to interact with such eminent personalities of the district.

The renowned guests graced the event with an interactive session. The ladies were made aware of the new initiatives taken by the Punjab administrations for the safety and security of the women and children around.

The introduction of new helpline number (112) along with the various useful mobile apps (viz. Shakti, know your police) for the benefit of the women were made acquainted to the gathering. Many safety tips on self-defence were elaborated too.
The highlight of the session was the special question answers round which further clarified the role of citizens and the administration for making the city as the smart city.

TAKEAWAY-women were made aware of the changes and the facilities which the government has initiated for their upliftment and security.
