FLO PUNE MEMBERS WERE INVITED FOR A SPECIAL GANPATI AARTI BY MAHARASHTRA’S LEADING MEDIA HOUSE: LOKMAT MEDIA GROUP MEMBERS TO BE A PART OF TICHA AARTI. EMPOWERING AND PROMOTING GENDER EQUALITY
FLO members participated in a short panel discussion (bappa shi gappa) with the Lokmat Media Editorial team. “Ticha Ganpati”, by Lokmat was conceptualized 9 years ago as a step towards promoting gender equality.
Women perform all poojas by themselves unlike the traditions that prevail that we need the men at home to be part of these rituals.

Interesting to know that their Pundit is a woman,aarti is done by women and even the visarjan (immersion) procession is all conducted by women! Women from all walks are welcomed to be a part of Lokmat’s Ticha Ganpati Utsav!
