The 7th edition of FLO Eminent Women Series was organized with Ms Amla Ruia, Entrepreneur, Water Activist & Educationist.
Amla Ruia is an Indian social activist known for her work in water harvesting. Ms Ruia set up Aakar Charitable Trust to create water sources for drought-stricken villages of India.
“The Water Mother” went through her journey explaining the selection of her work started with “thirsty people, barren land, sleepless nights of unemployed farmers on pavements, that led to the creation of check dams.”
