Ekal Run

The Ekal Run, organized by FTS Yuva Kolkata, is a flagship event dedicated to supporting the Ekal Vidyalaya initiative, which focuses on educating and empowering underprivileged rural and tribal children. This year, the event took place on January 12, 2025, at the Godrej Waterside Building in Kolkata, with FLO Kolkata serving as a Community Partner.

Under the National Rural Initiative, the event aims to raise awareness and funds to further Ekal Vidyalaya’s mission of transforming lives through education under the model “One Village – One School – One Teacher,” which has already impacted over 1.1 million children across 42,756 schools.

The event provides a platform to unite people for a noble cause. Participants could choose from 3-kilometer, 5-kilometer, 10-kilometer, and 21-kilometer runs. This highly anticipated event fostered a spirit of fitness and camaraderie amongst the members and highlighted the partnerships.
