Donations at Apna Ghar Ashram

FLO Jaipur organised a donation drive at Apna Ghar Ashram, a govt. Old Age Home for Women, Jamdoli, Jaipur on October 30, 2024.
The event commenced with a visit to Apna Ghar Ashram where Ms. Raghushree Poddar and the FLO team spent quality time with the elderly women, creating a festive and caring atmosphere. Kavita Ji, the owner of the ashram, provided a tour of the facility, showcasing the living conditions, food facilities, and medical services available to the residents.

120 elderly women residents of Apna Ghar Ashram who expressed joy and gratitude for the much-needed donations. The FLO team received heartfelt blessings from the residents, making the visit both meaningful and fulfilling.

Members contributed essential items, including food packets containing rice, atta, daal, sugar, oil, and fresh fruits, as well as electronic items such as tube lights, bulbs, and fans, showcasing their commitment to community support. Additionally, the event highlighted remarkable entrepreneurial ventures like REME, a distinguished brand by Raghushree Poddar, and Nirbana Palace, an initiative by Ms. Mayanka Meel, reflecting the diverse talents and impactful contributions of members.

This visit marked a significant part of the Diwali celebration, bringing festive cheer and essential resources to the elderly women at the ashram.
