FLO Mumbai organised an insightful talk with esteemed guest IPS Shri Krishna Prakash, ADGP, Force One, Maharashtra Police, on “Digital Warriors – Cybersecurity and the Way Forward.” The session, held on November 13th, 2024 aimed to educate attendees on the importance of cybersecurity. Under the ambit of the National Digital Initiative celebrated the success of their Digital and Financial literacy program by giving out certification to 200 female students who completed the course. This was a collaboration with Patuck Polytechnic School and NIIT Foundation.
India has emerged as a leading economy with high smartphone usage, making digital transactions convenient but also increasing the risk of online fraud. Shri Prakash emphasised that lust, greed, and fear contribute to growing cyber fraud. He advised the audience to be cautious when sharing personal information, report fraud immediately, and avoid unknown links and OTP sharing.

4. The session inspired 500 students to pursue NIIT’s cybersecurity course.
