Digital Literacy Digital Saathi

FLO Banglore organised the “Digital Literacy Digital Saathi” training session led by Vidya reached communities in Jarganahalli, Kadugodi, and Vajarahalli. The sessions were held on September 2nd, 10th, and 22nd, 2024 with a total of 168 women actively participating, learning essential digital and financial skills.

The program empowered participants to browse, use Google Maps, send emails, and engage confidently with apps like WhatsApp, YouTube, and Google Lens. They also learned about cybersecurity, creating strong passwords, avoiding scams, and managing their finances. The impact was profound, with women gaining the skills to access and update important government documents and secure their financial futures.

Participants like Reshma and Chandrama shared how the training boosted their confidence in using government savings schemes and secure investment options like Gold Bonds.

With these sessions being successful, FLO Banglore’s Social Initiatives continue to empower women at the grassroots level, ensuring they feel confident and safe in using technology to enhance their daily lives.
