YFLO Kolkata’s The Arts Club hosted an exceptional workshop titled “The Diamond Dialogue: Masterclass on Brilliance & Beyond” at the Hyatt Centric Kolkata Chapter. This exclusive event was graced by members who gathered to delve into the intricate world of diamonds and couture jewellery.

The masterclass featured two distinguished experts: Rittika Karvat, a diamond grader from
Antwerp, and Siddharth Sawansukha, a renowned couture jeweller of the city. Karvat
provided an in-depth exploration of diamond grading, including the comparison between a lab-grown and a natural diamond provided valuable insights into the factors. Her presentation included detailed analyses and real-life examples, enhancing the members’ understanding of the gem’s brilliance and intricacies.

Siddharth Sawansukha showcased his expertise in couture jewellery, highlighting the artistry
and craftsmanship involved in creating bespoke pieces. Sawansukha’s demonstration covered design principles, material selection, and the creative process behind high-end jewellery. The Hyatt Centric Kolkata served as the perfect venue for this enlightening session, providing an elegant setting that complemented the sophistication of the subject matter. The members had the opportunity to engage directly with the experts, ask questions, and gain a deeper appreciation for the art and science of diamonds and couture jewellery.
