Dental Screening Camp for Differently Abled Students

FLO Bangalore’s Social Initiatives Health team organized a dental screening camp for 150 students at Oceanik College. The camp was aimed at mainstreaming differently-abled children and offering them a brighter future.

The screening was made possible through a collaboration with Ramaiah Dental Hospital, led by Dr. Veerana, and supported by a team of 14 doctors. The mobile dental clinic was set up in an open park. By encouraging low performers to pursue higher education, the college helps prevent children from turning to unlawful activities, making their commitment to placements even more commendable.

The “Dental Screening Camp for Differently Abled Students” was inaugurated with a lamp-lighting ceremony by Vandana Sarin (Cluster Head, Social Initiatives), Dr. Pushpanjali (HOD, Ramaiah), Shobha Poviah (Founder Trustee, Oceanik College), and Dr. Vibha Shetty (FLO Member), who coordinated this initiative.
