Dance of Love: Crescendos of Rumi & Shiva’ by Zia Nath & Sanatan Chakravarty

FICCI Ladies Organization Jaipur Chapter organized a magical performance on  “Dance of Love : Crescendos of Rumi & Shiva by Zia Nath & Sanatan Chakravarty. It was a mesmerizing performance of Odissi & Sufi Whirling. We were a witness to a 1200 year meditational dance style, one of the very few movements of spiritual growth which have lived so long continuously. You cannot believe it unless you experience, that just by whirling like a child, we can discover our inner-self,

Our much awaited Inaugural of B2B & B2C conclave & Exhibition on 29th & 30th January 2018, has evinced a good response from Jaipur FLO members as well as members from other chapters. Our stalls are being booked and closing fast. The B2C exhibition will be open to general public in addition to the FLO members. As was said by Rumi, the father of Sufi Whirling ‘ Let’s Move within, but don’t move the way fear makes you move.” Let’s make an attempt to discover our center today. Let our whole body become a wheel, a potter’s wheel. Let’s be in the center, We welcomed Zia Nath & Sanatan Chakravarty to perform by quoting  Kabir’s Verse :

The Performance: Dance Of Love is inspired from ancient sculpted stories of the Temples of Orissa and the wild abandon of spinning gypsies of India and Central Asia. Dance of Love is a crescendo of Rumi and Shiva. Rumi – a sufi mystic of persian origin, from 800 years ago. Shiva – a tantric mystic of Indian origin from 5000 years ago.

– Rumi is renowned as a poet of love and for his temple of whirling dervishes. His poetry and dance was inspired by the love for his master Shamz of Tabriz. It was love that became his creative force, his poems, songs and dance became his celebration of eternal love.

– Shiva, renowned as the Tantric master, a master of consciousness within and beyond the body. It was in the unifying embrace of love with his beloved wife Parvati, also known as Devi or Shakti, that he delivered the 112 Sutras of the Vigyan Bhairav Tantra. Each sutra is a scientific method to use the body to attain higher consciousness and enlightenment. The tantra sutras were delivered in the union of love.

– From Rumi to Shiva, we explored, the forces of love. Love frees us. It brings the sky into our hearts.
