FLO Bhubaneswar organised an exclusive session on “Cyber Crime Awareness” on October 29th, 2024 at World Skill Center Bhubaneswar. The session aimed at educating participants about the growing threats of cyber-crime and the importance of online safety. The session featured esteemed guest speaker DSP Mr. Ritesh Kumar Mohapatra from the CID Crime Branch of Odisha. He provided valuable insights into the current landscape of cyber-crime in the region. This awareness session was a vital part of the national skilling initiative.
The session began with an overview of various types of cyber-crimes, including phishing, identity theft, and online harassment. DSP Mohapatra emphasised the significance of recognising these threats and adopting proactive measures to protect personal information and digital assets.
