Curtain Raiser Party for the Royal Crafts Exhibition

FLO Jaipur, under the leadership of Chairperson Ms. Raghushree Poddar, hosted the “Curtain Raiser Party for the Royal Crafts Exhibition”, at the White Orchard Hotel, Jaipur. The event marked the formal start of the highly anticipated Royal Crafts Exhibition and was organized in collaboration with the World Craft Council – Asia Pacific Region (WCC-APR) and the Garment Exporters Association of Rajasthan (GEAR).

The Curtain Raiser Party was a grand amalgamation of art, creativity, and collaboration, setting the stage for the main exhibition scheduled for December 16 and 17, 2024. The evening commenced with a welcome address by the FLO Executive Committee Member, Mayanka Meel, MOC for the event. She acknowledged and extended greetings to the distinguished guests, including the sponsors, exhibitors, media partners, FLO committee members, Dignitaries from the Crafts Council of Weavers & Artisans (CCWA), foreign delegates, and members of GEAR.

VOLVO Cars, one of the key sponsors, displayed two high-end luxury car models. The event featured the unveiling of the official poster for the Royal Crafts Exhibition, led by members of the Crafts Council of Weavers & Artisans (CCWA), alongside foreign delegates, sponsors, dignitaries, and the FLO Executive Committee.

FLO Executive Committee Member, Suruchi Dhoot announced the launch of a book by Ms. Karishma Kothari, one of the talented exhibitors who captivated the audience by reciting heartfelt lines from her book displayed at the exhibition.
