Classroom Learning Series

The Classroom learning series hosted by Ficci FLO Vadodara was a series of small group workshops conducted with the objective of encouraging networking and team building.

The workshop aimed to provide participants with the opportunity to develop their skills in various areas such as table decor, public speaking, and non-verbal communication. The workshop was conducted over an entire day, with each session lasting for two hours.

The first session conducted by Ami Kothari, founder of Dining Couture. focused on table decor and included topics such as table setting, center pieces, and place cards. Participants were given hands-on training and encouraged to practice their skills by setting up tables for a mock event.

The second session focused on public speaking, and participants were introduced to the basic principles of effective communication. The facilitator Ms.Esha Shah, provided tips on how to overcome stage fright, structure a speech, and engages the audience.

The third session focused on non-verbal communication and included topics such as body language, facial expressions, and tone of voice. The facilitator Ms Seema Puri, founder of Evolve, provided examples of how non-verbal cues can impact communication and encouraged participants to practice their skills through various exercises.

Through the sessions members were provided opportunities for networking and team building. The feedback from the participants was overwhelmingly positive. Participants reported that they had gained valuable skills and knowledge in various areas and that the workshop had provided them with the opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals. Participants also reported that the workshop had helped them overcome their fears and build their confidence.

In conclusion, the success of the Classroom learning series highlighted the importance of providing opportunities for women to connect with each other and develop their skills in a supportive and collaborative environment.
