Children’s Day Celebration at Paathshala NGO under the Rural Livelihood Initiative

To commemorate Children’s Day, the FLO Jaipur, led by Chairperson Ms. Raghushree Poddar, organized a joyous event at Paathshala NGO. This event was part of the ongoing commitment to fostering community connections and uplifting rural livelihood, specifically focusing on creating an environment of joy and learning for the underprivileged children in Jaipur.

Key Highlights:

  • Warm Welcome and Refreshments: The event began with the distribution of snacks and fresh fruits, ensuring that each child felt welcomed and nourished.
  • Dance and Music Extravaganza: The children showcased their dance moves, filling the room with boundless energy and enthusiasm.
  • Interactive Games and Activities: A series of games were organized to engage the children in playful and team-building activities.
  • Recognition and Medals: To celebrate the children’s active participation and talent, medals were awarded to those who performed.

Several items were donated by members, such as – Kitika Gupta (Executive Committee) who donated packets of chips, bringing smiles to the children as they enjoyed their favourite snack, Ruchika Dhoot (Secretary, FLO Jaipur) contributed essential stationery items to support the children’s education, Shraddha Rawat (Executive Committee) provided popcorn packets, gifts, and bananas, ensuring a mix of fun and nutrition, Shalini Setia (Executive Committee & Sponsor) donated samosas, adding a savoury treat that the children thoroughly enjoyed, Seema Baid (Executive Committee) offered lemonade, a refreshing beverage that kept the children hydrated and energized, Neha Singhi (FLO Member) donated 100 keychains, pocket diaries, and pens, gifting the children’s items they could use in their daily school activities, Parina Jain (Executive Committee) provided 100 woollen caps to keep the children warm during the colder months, showing thoughtfulness and care.

A total of 100 children from Paathshala NGO participated and benefited from the celebration. To celebrate the children’s talents and contributions, medals were awarded to participants in recognition of their unique strengths. This initiative aimed to inspire and motivate the children, acknowledging their hard work and positive qualities while fostering a sense of pride and achievement.

The event was made possible through the dedicated efforts of Neeta Joshi, an executive committee member, who played a vital role in securing the venue at Paathshala NGO. Special thanks to Mr. Om Prakash Gurjar, the owner of Paathshala NGO.

It was a day of smiles, laughter, and hope, reminding everyone of the joy that comes from giving and celebrating together.
