Chat GPT Skilling Workshop at Clarkes School for the Deaf

FLO Chennai’s Chairperson Dr. Divya Abhishek and Joint Treasurer Ms. Ruchita Saraogi, through its Diversity and Inclusion Vertical led by Ms. Subha Srikanth and Ms. Meera Jagdish, organized a Chat GPT Skilling Workshop for special education teachers working with differently-abled students.

The workshop was held at Clarkes School for the Deaf, Mylapore and over 50 people joined the workshop. This includes 20 teachers from the Clarke School for the Deaf, 20 teachers from the Helen Keller Foundation for the Deaf in Hyderabad, and faculty from institutions such as Vidya Sagar and Maithree, both dedicated to supporting differently-abled individuals, 8 administrative staff from Clarke School, and 4 senior students from the same institution.

The workshop, facilitated by the Samskriya Foundation, aimed to equip teachers and senior students with practical skills for incorporating modern technologies into their teaching practices. The workshop is designed to address the unique challenges of teaching differently-abled students, the course emphasizes practical and innovative strategies for creating inclusive educational spaces. Participants gained valuable tools and insights to enhance their teaching methodologies, ensuring greater accessibility and engagement for their students.

This impactful initiative by FLO Chennai highlighted the transformative power of education, underscoring the importance of diversity and inclusion.
