Certified Digital Literacy Sessions

FLO Bangalore’s Social Initiatives Digital Literacy team, under the guidance of Chairperson Dr. Nupur Handa, conducted “Certified Digital Literacy Sessions” at Loyola ITI Vocational Center and Agara Community, benefiting 62 women. These training sessions focused on uneducated women and offered simplified teaching methods, practical examples, and step-by-step guides addressing common hurdles such as fear of mistakes and intimidation around using technology.

The sessions also introduced basic financial literacy concepts – budgeting, saving, investing, and wise credit usage. This equipped participants with essential skills to manage their finances effectively. Additionally, government schemes relevant to women were discussed, detailing how to apply for and update documents like Aadhaar, Voter ID, and Ration Card.

The beneficiaries expressed gratitude for this introduction to the digital world, noting how smartphones can unlock a wealth of opportunities and resources for their everyday lives.
